I want everyone to be able to read this site and get in touch, whatever they use to browse it.

Level 2 · The details
What I aim for
The site aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. Text contrast meets AA on every field of colour, every image has a text alternative, every control has a name, and the whole site works with a keyboard alone.
How I test it
A Playwright suite runs against every push before the site can deploy. It includes an axe-core scan of every page at WCAG 2.1 A and AA, a check that each page has one main heading in the right order, that images carry alternative text, that keyboard focus is visible, and that nothing scrolls sideways on a phone. A failing check stops the deploy. The Quality page lists every test by name.
Motion and the games
The runner, the bug hunt and the achievement pop-ups are optional. If your system asks for reduced motion they are off and nothing on the site moves on its own. You can also switch them off with the Games button in the HUD bar. The page underneath never depends on them: the bugs are real buttons, and every pop-up is announced politely and never blocks what you are reading.
Pixel type
Headings, labels and figures are set in Pixel Operator, a pixel typeface, at sizes where it stays crisp. Running text is set in Montserrat at 16 pixels or more. If you zoom the page to 200% everything reflows without sideways scrolling.
What might still be wrong
Automated checks catch a lot but not everything. I have not yet had the site reviewed by people who use screen readers or switch access every day. If something does not work for you, I would like to know.
Report a problem
Email studio@playrunqa.com with the page, what you were trying to do and what you use to browse. I read every message and fix what I can.
